Week 22 Bumpdate!

22 weeks!

Mommy and Peanut :)

How far along? 22 weeks!

Baby size: an eggplant :) approx: 1-1.3 lb and 11-12 inches

Maternity clothes: Yes! Just ordered some new shirts for work this week :)

Stretch marks: I started noticing a few of the ones I had from Meredith getting darker/redder :(

Sleep: Still difficult, but managing the best I can.

Gender: GIRL!!!

Best moments of the week: Feeling her move around more and more.

Looking forward to: my next ultrasound, can't wait to see her again :)

What I miss: Sleeping comfortably on my stomach and my energy level

Movement: Yep! Lots and lots of kicks and jabs. Loving every one of them :)

Food Cravings: Nothing really

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing particular

Labor signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Nothing really new.

Belly button in or out? In, but beginning to get a little more shallow.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Happy and excited!

Nursery: Waiting until it gets warmer so we can start working on Meredith's new room.
Once she's moved out of the nursery we can start personalizing it for Peanut :)

It's A........

This was supposed to post last week, didn't post for some reason :(

So we had our ultrasound on Tuesday. Peanut wasn't being very cooperative with the ultrasound tech. Peanut is lying breech, so it made it very difficult to see everything. However the ultrasound tech was pretty confident she could tell what the baby was. So are we welcoming a little boy or a little girl come June.....

We are please to announce that we will be welcoming a little girl into our family in June!

Peanut is a GIRL!

Everything looks great on the ultrasound! Since Peanut wasn't letting us see everything we needed to we get a repeat ultrasound at my next appt. Since they have to do another ultrasound anyway they are going to confirm that we are indeed having a girl. Although the tech looked and looked and couldn't find any boy parts in there. She is pretty confident she only saw girl parts. Here are a few other pics we took yesterday.

Week 21 Bumpdate!

21 weeks :)

Mommy and Peanut!

How far along? 21 weeks :) 19 weeks to go....

Baby size: the app I use says she weighs 12.70 oz, but at my ultrasound they said she was 14 oz.
She was actually measuring 3 days ahead, which they said was normal for this part of development.
Length is 10.51 inches. A cantaloupe this week :)

Maternity clothes: Yep!

Stretch marks: Nothing new.

Sleep: Getting a little more difficult, but I'm managing with my many pillows.

Gender: GIRL!

Best moments of the week: Feeling Peanut move around more and more. Tom was able to feel her move for the first time last Wednesday. He loved it!

Looking forward to: spending time with Meredith and Tom

What I miss: energy level

Movement: Yes, lots of jolts and jabs. I can feel them really low at times and then higher up too. She's enjoying all the room she has right now.

Food Cravings: sweet stuff :)

Anything making you queasy or sick? Still have my good and bad days, but nothing particular.

Labor signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Backache, leg cramps, some N/V, and fatigue.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Excited about having another little girl :) Can't wait for her to wear all of Meredith's baby clothes.

Nursery: Since it's a girl we don't have to do much. Get Meredith moved into her big girl room and get the nursery ready for a baby again :D

Boy or Girl?

I am 20 weeks as of yesterday and today is our ultrasound! We can't wait to see Peanut again and are so excited to find out if we will be welcoming a son or another daughter into our lives. I asked our family members what they thought the baby's gender is their votes are below!

Mamaw (my Mom) - Girl

Papaw (my Dad) - Girl

Aunt Hannah (my sister) - Boy

Uncle Dan (my BIL) - Girl

Nana (Tom's mom) - Boy

Grandpa (Tom's dad) - Boy

Meredith hasn't really voted. Every time we ask her about a little brother or a little sister, she answers no to both of them. However, at our first ultrasound when she saw Peanut on the screen she referred to the baby as brother :) We will see if Big Sister's intuition is correct soon :)

How far along? 20 weeks - half way there :)

Baby size: Peanut is the size of a mango this week :) approx. 10.58 oz. and 10.08 inches

Maternity clothes: Yep!

Stretch marks: No news yet.

Sleep: Getting more difficult, but I'm managing.

Gender: We find out tomorrow :) Can't wait to find out what our little Peanut is....

Best moments of the week: Feeling Peanut move around more and finding out the gender!

Looking forward to: Our ultrasound :)

What I miss: energy level, free from back pain.

Movement: Lots of more kicks and jabs, nothing that I can feel on the outside yet.

Food Cravings: None

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing particular

Labor signs: Nope!

Symptoms: back pain, swollen feet, belly pain, and still some morning sickness.

Mood: Very excited!

Nursery: Will know on Tuesday if buying blue is in our future....

Week 19 Bumpdate!

19 weeks!

Mommy and Peanut :)

How far along? 19 weeks!

Baby size: approx. 6.02 inches long and 8.47 oz; the size of a grapefruit

Maternity clothes: Yep!

Stretch marks: No new ones.

Sleep: Getting a little more difficult, started sleeping with a pillow in between my legs to help my backache.

Gender: Find out in one week :D

Best moments of the week: We had a huge snowstorm this week. Almost a foot of snow where we live. Spent 4 days home with Meredith and loved every minute of it.

Looking forward to: Tuesday - our ultrasound and doctor's appt :)

What I miss: My energy level and being able to sleep comfortable.

Movement: Yep, lots of flips and kicks. Can't wait to begin feeling them from the outside.

Food Cravings: Nothing really.

Anything making you queasy or sick? I have my good days and my bad days

Symptoms: morning sickness, backache, swollen feet, and round ligament pain :/

Week 18 Bumpdate

18 weeks!

How far along? 18 weeks

Baby size: a dragon fruit - have no idea what that is :) approx. 6.70 oz and 5.59 in.

Maternity clothes: Yep, sporting some new ones I received for Christmas.

Stretch marks: No new ones yet.

Sleep: Getting more difficult to sleep on my stomach :( Other then that sleeping fairly well.

Gender: 2 weeks until our ultrasound :) Starting to think it's a girl more this week.

Best moments of the week: Celebrating a great year! So many fun and exciting things coming for 2014 :)

Looking forward to: My 8 day stretch off of work and spending some extra time with Meredith.

What I miss: Not as much energy or ambition to get things done.

Movement: Yep, lots of little flutters. Especially when I'm laying in bed.

Food Cravings: Nothing really.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing specific.

Labor signs: Not yet.

Symptoms: Fatigue, backache, and round ligament pain.

Belly button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On, but their a little tight in the morning.

Week 17 Bumpdate

17 weeks!

Mommy and Peanut :)

How far along? 17 weeks

Baby size: Navel orange - approx. 4.94 oz and 5.12"

Maternity clothes: Yep! :)

Stretch marks: No new ones...

Sleep: Not to bad, I am really congested some it makes it more difficult to sleep and still be able to breath - LOL!

Gender: 22 more days until we find out....I can't wait! Still thinking boy, but have been thinking maybe a girl more this week :)

Best moments of the week: Feeling peanut move more, especially after I have eaten something sweet :)

Looking forward to: Christmas! My favorite time of year.

What I miss: My energy :(

Movement: More and more each day; love feeling the little flutters. I can't wait for some really good kicks and jabs.

Food Cravings: Nothing really this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Still getting sick frequently. It comes and goes as it pleases.

Labor signs: Not yet.

Symptoms: Backache, congestion, morning sickness, fatigue - the usual stuff :D
