It's A BOY!!!!

I am beyond thrilled to announce that coming in February will be the cutest, sweetest, most loved little boy on the planet. I'm getting a little nephew to love and spoil like crazy! Now I know it's a boy I can't wait to start buying stuff for him. I'm trying my best to behave, but little boy stuff is just so cute. I can't help my self :) I am in the process of planning my sister's baby shower so knowing it's a little boy is so exciting. Now I get to add little boy touches to everything! This is the first boy on my side of the family since 1988, so we are all very excited to be adding a little blue to all the pink we have had lately. Meredith is so excited to meet her little cousin and ask all the time if he's here yet. I was so glad they found out what they were having. Meredith has been asking consistently for weeks now if Aunt Hannah's baby was a boy or girl. Such a curious little thing! Now we just have to wait until February to meet the little guy....this Aunt can't wait!

I would like to introduce everyone to my sweet and adorable little nephew,
Trey Ryan - due to arrive on February 13, 2015.

Guess what?!?!

I am so EXCITED!!!! I can finally share the great news that my little sister
and her husband are expecting a little munchkin of their own.
Baby D is due to arrive on February 13th, 2015!
I am so excited for my sister and brother-in-law, they are going to make
great parents. Of course I am thrilled that I am finally going to be an aunt :)
And that my girls will grow up with a cousin close in age. Natasha and Baby D. will
only be 9 months apart! So be prepared for lots of updates on my precious new little
niece/nephew. Let the baby shower planning commence :)

Peanut's Nursery!

So we really didn't have to do a whole lot with Peanut's nursery. We did a complete makeover when we were expecting Meredith. You should of seen this room before Tom re-decorated it. You would believe it to be the same room. We added personal touches just for Peanut and I organized a little differently then I had it with Meredith; but the furniture and the layout is the exact same.

Looking through her door. So cute :)

Close up of her changing table, hamper, diaper pail, and shelf.

Her crib.

Our glider and end table with her little lamp.
We are missing her music maker that will go on the table
next to the lamp. It's a gift coming from Aunt Hannah & Uncle Dan.
The glider used to belong to my grandparents. My mom recovered it for us.
With them both being gone, it is so special to have this be the place I rock my
babies at night.

Changing table close up. Notice the Cookie Monster in the corner.
A gift to sissy from Meredith :)

Another crib view and her rug.

In love with her new crib sheets, since we don't use bumpers it goes perfect in her room.

Wall the crib sits against and the pictures above the crib.

Little elephant that Meredith is going to give to Peanut at the hospital.

Close up of the rug.

Diaper caddy - still need to fill it with some newborn diapers.

Close up of the changing table pad. Love this little giraffe so much.

Peanut's shelf. We will add things as she gets older. Finally found a picture
frame that I fell in love with and a tiny elephant next to it. The flowers are the same ones
that we had in here with Meredith. My mom made them for us.

Close up of her lamp - a turtle, a giraffe, and a elephant.

The shelves in her closet.

Tiny baby clothes :)

Love how my closet dividers turned out. So cute and super functional!

Week 37 Bumpdate!

37 weeks! We're full term :)

Mommy & Peanut

How far along? 37 weeks - only 3 more to go!

Baby size: our last fruit - a watermelon. Approx:

Maternity clothes: Couldn't live without them at this point.

Stretch marks: Plenty of new ones at the top of my belly; and all the old ones on the lower part
from Meredith.

Sleep: It's getting more and more difficult to get comfortable. I actually sleep better during the day then I do at night. Night shift problems I guess.

Gender: GIRL!

Best moments of the week: I started going to the doctor weekly this week and she set my induction date! I was surprised, but so happy she agreed to set it. So unless she decides to arrive on her own. We are to induce on Monday, May 26th (which is Memorial Day this year). We are scheduled to be at the hospital at 6pm in hopes that we will have a baby by midnight.

Looking forward to: The 26th ;) Actually my last weekend shift this weekend. Then only 2 more shifts and 12 weeks off!

What I miss: Feeling comfortable and feeling like myself.

Movement: Still lots of rolls and stretches.

Food Cravings: Cucumber and Watermelon :)

Anything making you queasy or sick? Getting sick about once or twice a day now. Varies depending on what I eat and what my schedule is.

Labor signs: Lots of cramping and back pain. Pelvic pressure is getting worse too.

Symptoms: Cramps, back pain, pelvic pressure, fatigue, short of breath, heartburn, leg cramps, swelling in my feet and ankles, you know the normal stuff :)

Belly button in or out? Definitely out now.

Wedding rings on or off? On and off.

Mood: Getting super excited, but kind of nervous too.

Nursery: Complete! Waiting on a baby to fill it now. See upcoming post on all the highlights and some pictures of it.

Doctor's Appointment: Peanut is right on schedule. Measured at 37 weeks, HR 140 bpm, BP was great as usual. I actually lost 2 lbs, they weren't concerned since she was measuring right now on track. So weight gain is at 27lbs so far I believe. Induction date set for May 26th :) Group B test came back negative, but since I was positive for Meredith we decided to go ahead and treat me just to be on the safe side. Treating me is better then the risk that the Group B has on Peanut. I can handle a couple of rounds of antibiotics.

Maternity Pictures!

One of my best friends, Jenny, did our maternity pictures for us. She did an amazing job and has such a talent for taking pictures. We met at a local state park and it was such a pretty place to take our pictures. Although it was rather humid that evening and the bugs were so bad we could hardly stand it. Regardless of the bugs and the humidity we had a great time and were able to get some incredible pictures of the 3 of us.
Hope you enjoy them!
